Absent Minded

Absent Minded

Smelling jasmine flowers as he walked by the barking dogs.

Jack remembered her laughing from the back of the cab.

Grabbing his hand and pushing it under her dress.

Smiling and encouraging him to misbehave.

It was a long time ago,

but he could still see her polka dot dress

and white elbow length gloves.

Chicken Little

Chicken Little

Why did the chicken cross the Möbius strip?

To get to the other side.

Same reason he crossed the road.

There’s only so many ways you can answer the important questions.

Another equally important question is:

How much smack could a woodchuck talk if a woodchuck could talk smack?

I mean, inquiring minds must know.

??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

There’s a much dirtier version of this story. Bit I spared you because you don’t need your minds filled with more filth. 😉

Monica came from Munich with the baby.

And she was already pissed off.

Complained about the sheets and the pillow cases.

Max hired a cleaning lady to clean the whole house and washed the bedding two times.

She insisted, “It still smells like man head!”

Cologne was out of the question, her head would’ve exploded.

The Good Silver2

Eve was out late and in a hurry to get to work.

She didn’t think about what she was doing.

Just put the fork in her bag and forgot it.

It was her step mother, Ophelia’s, favorite fork.

The only thing she would eat with.

She went hungry without it

and the whole house stopped.

The Doctors Lament

I was blind for a time in my left eye.

From a virus and not wanting to see.

Wore an eye patch and I still saw patients.

Eye doctor said the retina had detached.

Didn’t understand how it had healed again.

I said “luck” and didn’t tell him about the herbs or the forgiveness.

Sunshine

The finches were bold, flying into the window glass, trying to get inside.

There were 4 or 5 on the porch, looking for a way in.

What did they want?

What we all want. Safety and peace.

A place to raise a family away from the feral cats of the world seeking to remove our faces.

This Just In

Reality Winner in a win for reality.

Leaked some useful information for us 99%ers.

Published in The Intercept,

it proved conclusively that we are all living in an absurdist play

written by Elmer Fudd.

“Quiet, I’m hunting Wussians.” he said without the slightest bit of irony.

The Justice Department, apparently, was not amused.

???????????????????????????????????????????????????????

This is what resistance looks like.

Wayward Trajectory

Jack had long ago weaponized his intellect.

Using argument to get the upper hand.

What he was not prepared for was it to be used against him.

“You said you valued the truth. The truth is I’m tired of you.” said Cynthia.

He winced and tried to catch his breath.

A precise armour piercing missile.
